Here is our easy to follow GUI installation tutorial, (click the images to view a larger image).

Before we start, you need to ensure you have the minimum requirements for Blesta. If you are using InterWorx we have the commands below, if you are using cPanel you need to use EasyApache.

Our Recommended & Minimum Requirements:

  • PHP version 5.2 or later (We recommend PHP 5.4 - 5.6)
  • PDO, pdo_mysql, curl (version 7.10.5 or later), openssl (version 0.9.6 or later), gmp, imap, json, ldap, libxml, mailparse, mbstring, mcrypt, simplexml, and zlib PHP extensions
  • MySQL version 5.0.17 or later (We recommend 5.5)
  • Apache, IIS, or LiteSpeed Web Server (We recommend Apache or LiteSpeed)
  • ionCube PHP loader (Latest version)
  • memory_limit set to 32 MB or greater (We recommend 512MB or 1024MB)

So we take it you have everything set-up please follow the simple steps:

Step 1: Go to (Using .htaccess) or (Not using .htaccess), and then click Continue.

Step 2: You will need to tick the box to agree to the terms and conditions, and check everything you need is installed, then enter your MySQL database information in the boxes bellow.

Step 3: You can click on the 30 day trial or enter your license key. Fill in the boxes to make your administration account, and then you will be logged into Blesta's Administration area. It's that simple!

IF you are having issues with a trial, it could be if you are using LocalHost, as Localhost is already been used you will either need to edit your host file on your desktop / laptop / server etc. Or you can email sales@blesta or PM Paul on the Blesta forums for a trial license key.

If you are having issues with a license key from us, please click manage on your client area and click on re-issue and save.
